Jeff Schram
Front-end engineer and strategic partner delivering digital experiences that are beautiful, accessible, and built to last.

20+ years of frontend development expertise spanning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web accessibility standards. Specializing in React/Next.js applications while bringing modern component-based design system principles to any platform. I combine deep technical foundation with AI-assisted workflows to deliver performant, accessible, and maintainable solutions.
I bridge design and technology with a human-centered focus, shaping interfaces where clarity, usability, and creative intent come first. Informed by my background as a musician and woodworker/sculptor, I approach digital work with an artist and craftsman's mindset. Alongside my wife, multimedia artist Holly Danger, I co-run the immersive video art space Danger Gallery, where we blend storytelling, visual design, and technology into experiential projects built to engage and inspire.

Selected Work

3D Configurator for a Growing Product Line
With Crush & Lovely, I served as Lead Front-End Developer and team manager for the Rooms To Go Configurator—a Next.js and React web app that lets customers and in-store associates design modular sectional sofas in real time. I built the interface and custom connection-logic system from scratch, integrated store-specific inventory and pricing via the company's internal API, and collaborated on UX to ensure a seamless, responsive experience. The success of the initial launch led to a master Configurator platform supporting multiple modular product lines and driving a significant boost in sales.

Design System Refresh for AHA
I was a front-end developer on the American Heart Association's Well-being Works Better site, redesigning and rebuilding it within their existing Sitecore CMS. Our team created new React and SCSS components and refreshed legacy ones to modernize the design system. I also built an internal React tool that generated dynamic stylesheets, allowing legacy components to adopt the new look while supporting scalable, custom components for future updates.

AnswerQuest
I led front-end development for the AnswerQuest.ai marketing site and AI chat interface. AnswerQuest helps schools and communities improve communication through conversational AI. I built responsive, high-performance React interfaces for both the public site and chat experience—handling UI design, interaction logic, and integration with backend services—so users could explore and engage with the product seamlessly across devices.

Crush & Lovely
During my tenure at Crush & Lovely, I provided design and UX consulting while leading front-end development for the agency’s flagship site and internal products. I built the front-end in Next.js and integrated with the Prismic CMS to power dynamic, content-driven pages. I also designed and implemented custom animated interactions and transitions, ensuring the site felt lively and polished. The result is a site that feels dynamic and intentional—where responsive layouts and motion design work together to enhance the overall experience.
